Information stored by Personal Woke

Personal Woke stores the information needed for your account and training workspace, such as your email address, display name, settings, exercises, training plans, workout records, notes and other information you choose to enter.

If you send a support request, the information included in that request is also received. The app and its service providers process technical information needed for authentication, security and reliable operation, such as session data, request metadata and security logs.

How Personal Woke uses your data

Personal data is used to provide your account and training workspace, keep the service secure, handle support and data requests, maintain the app and meet legal obligations.

Where a legal basis is required, account and workspace processing is used to provide the service you request; security, reliability and support may rely on legitimate interests; optional processing that specifically asks for consent relies on that consent; and some processing may be required by law.

Service providers

Personal Woke uses Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure, Vercel for hosting, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection where enabled, and an email provider for transactional account emails.

Some providers may process data outside your country. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the relevant provider arrangements and transfer safeguards apply.

Retention and deletion

Core account and training data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account from Settings. Account-owned data is then removed from the live service, although limited copies may remain temporarily in security logs or infrastructure backups until normal retention cycles expire.

Support and security records may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to resolve a request, protect the service or meet legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on applicable data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of certain data, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and complain to your data-protection authority.

Discarded workouts and support diagnostics

Discarding a workout keeps it out of Previous, normal completed history and Progress. The discarded session record can still retain elapsed time, exercises, sets, entered values and notes with the account. Those records remain subject to account deletion and the retention rules below.

If you send a support request, optional diagnostics such as the current route, viewport size, browser language and user agent are included only when you explicitly choose to include diagnostics.

App analytics and operational activity

The authenticated app uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand app usage. Before analytics events are sent, Personal Woke excludes admin routes, removes query strings and URL fragments, and replaces UUID-like route identifiers with a generic placeholder. Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies.

Personal Woke also keeps a small account-linked daily activity record for app opens, workout starts and completions, support submissions and save failures. It stores the user identifier, event type and count, and last-seen time to understand service usage and reliability. These activity records do not contain workout values or notes.

Browser preferences

To keep your selected language consistent between the public website and the app, Personal Woke stores the language preference in browser local storage and a first-party cookie. The language cookie can last up to one year, uses SameSite=Lax and is marked Secure on HTTPS. This preference storage is not used for advertising.
